Volunteer Application

Thursday/ Friday(Set-up*), Saturday & Sunday,
Monday(Tear down*) 5/24/12 – 5/28/12

 

We are looking for adults, 18 and older, to volunteer their time to work at the Air Show (age verification may be necessary). We need volunteers to be available for a minimum of 8 hours so please be prepared with adequate sunscreen, water will be provided.

 

The last date to submit your online application is Wednesday May 9th, 2012, or sooner if we have all the volunteers we need. When you submit your application you will be able to print and sign your application. We must receive your signed application by May 15th 2012 at the latest. Signing up is not a guarantee of being selected, and if you are not selected you’ll be notified by email on or about May 10th.

Instructions for mailing, faxing or delivering your application form are on the printed form. All applications require the approval of the Airshow Committee and all volunteers must print, sign and provide us with their signed Application Form before May 15th if you have been selected please be sure to attend the Volunteers Briefing scheduled for 7pm on Wednesday May 16th, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church, 2066 San Benito St. Hollister.

GENERAL WAIVER
I will indemnify, defend, protect and hold harmless City of Hollister, its employees, elected officials, appointed officials, and agents (collectively “City”) from and against any and all liabilities, claims, actions, causes of action, proceedings, suits, damages, judgments, liens, levies, costs and expenses of whatever nature, including reasonable attorney fees and costs (collectively “Claims”) which City may suffer or incur or to which City may become subject by reason of or arising out of any injury to or death of any person(s), damage to property, loss of use of property, economic loss or otherwise occurring as a result of or allegedly caused by my negligence or willful misconduct while acting as a volunteer at the Hollister Air Show.


This hold harmless agreement does not apply to Claims occurring as a result of the City’s sole negligence or willful acts or omissions.


The above liability waiver is printed on your application form which must be signed and delivered to us prior to attending the volunteers' briefing before the airshow. You will receive an option to print the form now or later after you click "Submit my application".
