Is each ticket good for one day?
Yes, admission is good for one day only.

 

Are credit cards accepted at the gate?

No. Only cash is accepted.


How much is parking?
Parking is $5 per car, payable at the gate. More than 300 parking spaces are available.

 

Will there be a shuttle bus from downtown Hollister or Frazier Lake Airpark?

Yes, you can park in the free parking garage in downtown Hollister. A free shuttle bus service will be available from approximately 9:30am to 4:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Service from downtown will be approximately every 30 minutes and from Frazier Lake on demand. Signs will be posted at Frazier Lake Airpark and at the downtown pick-up location (4th St and San Benito) including a contact phone number.

 

Will there be a shuttle from the parking area?

No, the parking area is a short walk to the gate. However, if we use the overflow parking at Swank Farms we will provide a free shuttle bus to the main gate.


Is handicapped parking available?
Yes, there is handicapped parking available.


Are strollers or wheelchairs available for rent?
No strollers and wheelchairs are available for rent. The event is ADA accessible.

 

Are pets allowed on the airport grounds?
No, pets are not allowed on the airport grounds (except handicapped service dogs) or allowed to be left in cars inside the event's parking area. Pet enforcement is strictly observed.

 

Are coolers permitted?
Coolers are not permitted. No alcohol or glass containers are permitted on Airport grounds.

Can I leave and re-enter the Fly-In & Air Show?
Yes, just show your wristband to the gate attendant when re-entering.

 

Are there senior and military discounts?
No, tickets are: Adults $10, Children 6-17 years old $5, 5 years old and under are free. Parking is $5 per vehicle, payable at the gate. Checks or cash only are accepted.

 

What happens if there is inclement weather?
We always plan for beautiful weather in Hollister during the Air Show weekend, but the event will go on rain or shine. There are no refunds and no rain dates for the event.

 

Do you have any seating?
There will be 600 seats available on the flight line on a first-come, first-served basis. Lawn chairs and blankets are permitted and recommended for spectator seating. These items are subject to search.

 

Are roller skates, skateboards, bicycles, or personal golf carts and TVRs permitted on the airport grounds?
No, none of these items are permitted due to security and safety restrictions.

 

Are cameras allowed?
Yes, cameras are allowed (still, video, digital). Your camera bags will be subject to search at the gates.

 

What is prohibited on the airport grounds?

Prohibited items include coolers, alcohol, glass containers, bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, motorized transportation vehicles(except for handicap use), knives (no matter how long), firearms, walking sticks (except for handicap use), pepper spray/mace, stun guns, scissors, box cutters, throwing stars, nun chucks, backpacks, duffle bags, briefcases, big camera bags, and big fanny packs. Smoking is also prohibited. To help ensure visitor, volunteer, participant, and staff safety, all persons and purses will be subject to search upon entering the airport grounds. Please anticipate this safety measure at the entrance gates when attending the Air Show. Thank you for your support and understanding.

 

Will there be food, beverage and commercial vendors?
Yes, there will be concession booths where food and other items can be purchased.

 

What camping opportunities are available?

If you are participating in the fly-in, the Hollister Air Show will be offering a limited amount of camping spots for tents. RVs are not permitted. The cost of camping is $25 per site. (Please note that the sites are undeveloped and have extremely limited amenities). Please contact the Airport Manager's office prior to your arrival if you are thinking of camping. Fly-in camping also available at Frazier Lake Airpark (1C9) .

 

Will there be helicopter and airplane rides available for purchase during the weekend?
Airplane rides may be available to be purchased on the day of the event. Please note that the vendors have no affiliation with the Hollister Air Show.

 

Other than the air show, what other attractions will be at the Hollister Air Show?
The Hollister Air Show provides an entire weekend of fabulous family-oriented entertainment and things to do. In addition to the exciting air show, patrons can enjoy a car show; food and vendors; antique, classic, neoclassic, warbirds and experimental aircraft on static display; military displays; airplane rides; sailplanes (Hollister Gliding Club) and many other exhibits.

 

Hollister Air Show appreciates your cooperation with the following:
NO ANIMALS (handicapped service dogs are allowed), No Coolers, No Alcohol, No Glass Containers, No Bicycles, No Skateboards, No Roller Skates, No Motorized Transportation Vehicles, No Weapons and No Smoking in the event area.
