Aircraft Arrival

PLEASE NOTE - The airport will be closed between 11:30 hours and the end of the show at approximately 15:00 hours. Early arrival for static display parking appreciated. Display day signatures can be obtained at Pilot Check-in (see below).

On approach, check the A.W.O.S. on 120.425 and then remain on 123.00

Morning conditions at Hollister usually favor Runway 31. Make a standard 45° entry to runway 31, left traffic pattern. When clear of the runway, follow a) posted directions and b) instructions provided by the flagmen. If you need additional assistance, contact ground on 122.75.

Fly-in parking will be on the shoulders of Runway 06-24 which will be closed. WATCH FOR FLAGMEN

After the show it will be departures only for a while. Please check Notams for full information.

Hollister is a CalFire base. Should the CalFire bombers be called out during the fly-in arrivals or departures,  please be alert to their presence and yield airspace to them as needed.

There will be a fly-in Pilot Check-in tent at the access point between the fly-in parking and the exhibit area where wristbands will be issued. Wristbands must be worn by pilots and passengers. There will be no admission fee for fly-in pilots or their passengers although tax-deductible donations to EAA Chapter 1264 would be appreciated. There will be no judging at this event.

If you are unable to land at Hollister, the nearest alternate is Frazier Lake Airpark (1C9) which is approximately 5 miles North West of Hollister Airport, a shuttle service will be available to Hollister Airport. Caution: water runway parallel to and South of the grass runway (right traffic Rwy 23).
